Here are the terms of the agreement between Bowood Electronics ("we/us") and you for the use of our website and the sale of goods purchased through it. All orders made through the website and accepted by us are subject to the following terms. It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions thoroughly. If you do not agree to these conditions please close our site now.

Copyright
The content, structure and source code of our website is protected by The Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. Copying, redistribution, or publication of the contents, structure or source code by anyone is strictly prohibited.
Changes
We reserve the right to edit or delete any information or content appearing on the website and remove any goods from sale. We may modify this contract, prices, and may discontinue or revise any or all aspects of the website without prior notice.
Sales
You must agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this contract with respect to purchasing goods. This Contract constitutes the entire and only agreement of sale. You agree to review this contract prior to purchasing anything and the purchase shall be deemed acceptance of this contract.

The sale of any goods is subject to availability.
Payment
The total cost of your purchase will be confirmed at the checkout. This is the total cost of goods plus our delivery charges as laid out in our delivery section and calculated by our website.

Before completing your order you are required to select a payment method. Payment will be deducted from your account on dispatch of your order.

You agree that :
  • You are the owner of any credit/debit card used for payment.
  • Any credit/debit card details are correct and complete.
  • Sufficient funds are available to process the payment.

We will not be held responsible for any penalties you incur by your card issuer or bank resulting from insufficient funds when we process your payment.

We are not responsible for any delay in the delivery of your order caused by the processing or refusal of any credit/debit card payment that you make. If you choose to send your payment by telephone or post we cannot dispatch your order until we receive it.

We are not registered for VAT, and not required to do so by law. No extra tax is applicable for the UK. However, you are responsible for any importation and sales taxes incurred when delivery is made to your location.
Delivery
We regret we can only dispatch to the following locations: UK, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Sweden. Also, US, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.

Our delivery charges are laid out in the delivery section and calculated automatically by our checkout.

We will dispatch your order using the delivery method chosen at the checkout.

Your order will be dispatched to the address held on our website. You agree to check this is correct before placing your order. This address can be changed at any stage of the ordering process. We cannot be held responsible for incorrect delivery of your order if this address is wrong.

Orders dispatched via recorded delivery and Parcelforce need to be signed for on delivery. You understand that scheduling this is beyond our control.

We will only investigate lost delivery of orders after 7 days following their dispatch within the UK and 21 days for destinations outside the UK. It is your responsibility to check with your local post office for any packages waiting to be collected. If this time elapses, you must notify us within 28 days for orders to the UK and Europe, and within 40 days for destinations outside Europe, since the dispatch of your order.

You may check the status of your order from the "My Account" section of the website. Your order has been sent when the status changes to "Dispatched".
Refunds
If a product purchased is not to your satisfaction, you must notify us by post, telephone or electronic mail within 7 days from the day of receipt. You should return it in its original condition. Please get a proof of posting certificate from the Post Office. We shall refund the sale price of the item (not including any delivery costs you incur returning the unwanted item). Refunds will be made within 30 days.
Guarantee
We will warrant all goods free from defect caused by faulty materials or workmanship for a period of 3 months from the date of dispatch. We cannot accept responsibility for any items damaged by misuse. When returning the item, it is your responsibility to get a certificate of posting from the Post Office.
Disclaimer
All orders are subject to our acceptance made at the time of dispatch. We reserve the right to refuse an order any time for any reason.

While we endeavour to make sure any information we place on the website is correct, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy.

The sole and entire maximum liability for us, for any reason, shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the particular items purchased. We are not liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages (including damages for the loss of business, loss of profits, loss of information, or the like), whether based on breach of contract, breach of warranty, tort (including negligence), product liability or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The limitations of damages set forth above are fundamental elements of the basis of this agreement between us. The website and goods would not be provided without such limitations.
Some state statutes may apply regarding limitation of liability.

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England.

Your statutory rights are not affected.
